Crockpot Chessy Chicken

This dish is super easy to make and whats better than having dinner done by 9am. I'm thinking I'm going to make one crockpot recipe a week. It's so nice to have when you don't have time to cook in the evening.
Recipe
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz. cream cheese
1 packet Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
sliced mushrooms
half stick of butter
1/2 to 1 cup white wine

Place 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the Crock-Pot. Mix 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 8 oz. of softened cream cheese, 1 packet of Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix, butter and wine in bowl. Add mushrooms last to mix or to crockpot. Pour mixture over chicken and cook on high for 5-6 hours. Serve over white rice

This dish is not healthy or pretty but the yum factor is over the top. I generally don't like to cook with can of ........... whatever but in some cases I cave. My kids love this and even the hubby who does not like chicken thinks it tastes good. Just don't look at it while your eating it.

I also made corn on the cob as our vegetable. I boiled the corn on the stove for about 7-8 minutes so it was still crisp. Corn on the cob may not be the best vegetable to compliment this dish but I had 8 ears purchased already to go with my smoky grilled chicken that I never made. Oh well it was really sweet and fun to watch Emersen devour her first corn on the cob!

And then because dinner just was not quite heavy or rich enough I thought I would clog a few more of my families arteries and make brownies with frosting. I never make brownies from scratch because I love the Betty Crocker Fudge brownies. I could eat a whole pan at one sitting if I let myself. I added chocolate chips and frosting. I guess I was so anxious for these to be done I forgot to check them when they came out of the oven. The middle is actually pretty gooey. In case you're wondering under cooked brownies are not only edible but very tasty. Sorry again about the lame picture but if you're not convinced come on over and have one. :)
